OIF Update, May 26, 2009: IED Blast Kills 3, Wounds 2 in Fallujah
Dispatches from the Front:
BAGHDAD, May 26, 2009 -- Three people were killed and two were wounded May 25, when an improvised explosive device detonated during a visit of construction sites near Fallujah.
The IED struck a vehicle traveling as part of a convoy that included Coalition Forces and U.S. Government civilians and contractors. The two wounded personnel were medically evacuated to a hospital for treatment.
The names of the deceased and injured are being withheld pending next of kin notification.
