OIF Update, June 16 2009: US Soldier Killed in Combat-Related Incident Near Samawah

CONTINGENCY OPERATING BASE ADDER, Iraq, June 16, 2009 -- A Multi-National Division - South soldier was killed by an improvised explosive device near the city of Samawah June 16.

The soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
