OIF Update, June 4, 2009: US Soldier Killed on Patrol in Kirkuk Province

CONTINGENCY OPERATING BASE SPEICHER, TIKRIT, Iraq, June 4, 2009 -- A Multi-National Division - North Soldier died from injuries received during a grenade attack on a patrol in the Kirkuk province of northern Iraq, June 4.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
