Dems Determined to Ignore Progress in Iraq

NATION/POLITICS

COMMENTARY
One story at a time, the news about Democrat disunity on Iraq is bleeding out into the world. The story has been circulating in the blogosphere since Sen. Lieberman made his speech on Iraq last week, but it has hardly popped up on the mainstream radar. Instead, the press have been relentlessly pounding home Sen. Murtha's "broken" army remarks.

The more the press plays up one story and ignores the other story, the more biased the press appears. You only need to surf the blogs to see how many folks are noticing. Perhaps the press will eventually catch on? Don't hold your breath.

NEWSBYTE
Dems determined to ignore progress in Iraq
(Chicago Sun-Times) Sen. Joe Lieberman, Democrat of Connecticut, came out with a big statement on Iraq last week. Did you hear about it? Probably not. Everyone was still raving about his Democrat colleague, Rep. Jack Murtha, whose carefully nuanced position on Iraq is: We're all doomed unless we pull out by next Tuesday!
