White House Sends 'Holiday' Cards, So What?

NATION

Laura Bush stands next to the Blue Room Christmas tree, Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005, as she answers questions during the press preview of the White House Christmas decorations.COMMENTARY
Seems some folks never miss a chance to beat on the Bushes. Blame the Christmas card foolishness on the damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't political correctness crowd. Personally, I celebrate Christmas but send holiday cards because I want to cover the New Year's holiday in my sentiments, too. So, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays folks.

Just dumb... of course a message from the president is going to be generic, what did these people expect customized cards?

If President Bush needed to write 1.4 million individual cards that's all he'd be doing all year and he'd have no time for the administration.... wait a sec, this might not be a bad idea :P
