Wikipedia Tightens Up In Response To Reports

Wikipedia LogoCOMMENTARY
It looks like Wikipedia is going to start requiring folks to register before they can post content. Perhaps user-authors will feel that they can be held accountable for posts and think twice before posting trash. Of course, the registration step alone won't prevent slander and misinformation. It's too easy to fool online registration. What Wikipedia needs are user-editors. As it is now, Wikipedia is all but useless as a reliable research tool.

I guess it's about time the adult-users took charge of the Wiki.
