The story linked below, Geocaching puts authorities on edge, presents the usually overblown CNN perspective on the news.

If you haven't heard of it, geocaching is simply a high-tech treasure-hunt game using global positioning devices. The picture above left (click to expand) represents the "treasure" found in a typical geocache.

Because curious folks may pillage the containers used in the game, most of the treasures are not hidden in plain sight in populated areas.
