John Kerry for President in 2008?

POLITICS

JOHN KERRY AT NASACOMMENTARY
Everybody loves a winner, except in contemporary American politics where divisiveness is so rampant that winners are actually hated by the folks who voted against them. That's a disservice to what our forefathers had envisioned, but nowadays -- what the heck. It's the partisanship and not the sportsmanship that counts, ay?

I really don't care if John Kerry runs for president in `08. He'll probably be up against Hillary, his Senate record, his losing bid for president in `04, and most of all himself. Joe Lieberman found out the hard way in `04 that you really only get one shot. Plus, given the historical odds of Senators losing presidential bids, the really interesting play will come from Hillary anyway.
