Katrina Anger Brings Gov. Blanco Recall Efforts

NATION/GULF COAST

Work continues at the site of the levee breech on the Industrial canal caused by Hurricane Katrina in the Lower Ninth Ward district Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006, in New Orleans. The city is dreaming big as it puts together a blueprint for its rebirth in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, reinventing the structure of government, recreating a long-gone jazz district, laying out a network of biking paths and light-rail lines, among other audacious ideas. That would totally suck having your house bulldozed even if it that was going to be it's fate anyways.

Sounds like parts of La. are a mess, maybe the recall is something that's needed

Not only is it needed, it should be required. Why should the federal government invest in the reconstruction effort if we fail to clean up from the top down? Now is the chance for Louisianians to prove that they can actually think a sober thought.
