Poll: Americans Oppose Vt. Judge's Ruling

CURRENT AFFAIRS

COMMENTLINE
Bill O'Reilly has been pounding the story about the 60-day sentence for a child rapist handed out by Judge Cashman in Vermont.

The story has not been picked up in the mainstream media -- yet according to a Zogby poll, 92 percent of voters disagree with the child rapist sentence.

Here, it seems like the public good is not being served by the folks who claim to be the Fourth Estate. I guess unless the story can somehow be twisted into ragging the Bush Administration, then the talking heads of the mainstream really don't care.

Since the mainstream media isn't covering the story, I have to wonder where the folks Zogby polled became informed enough about the case to form an opinion?

Maybe talk radio, Fox News, and conservative blogs have become the strange bedfellows driving the story.
