In Lebanon, Hezbollah refuses to disarm and withdraw its fighters from the border with Israel on Tuesday, threatening to delay deployment of the Lebanese army and endangering the fragile cease-fire reports the Washington Post.
AP reports France and Turkey send their top diplomats to Beirut on Wednesday to discuss the deployment of a 15,000-strong international force to south Lebanon, amid doubt over whether Hezbollah would lay down its arms or even withdraw them from the border with Israel.
