U.S. Marines of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit wait in a combat rubber raiding craft at the stern gate of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Juneau (LPD 10) as they prepare to head out and perform open-ocean and raiding exercises in Sulu Bay off the coast of the Philippines Oct. 23, 2006. Juneau, part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, is participating with the armed forces of the Philippines in exercises Talon Vision '07 and Amphibious Landing Exercise '07.
