An F/A-18C Hornet aircraft assigned to the Knighthawks of Strike Fighter Squadron One Three Six (VFA-136) tests its flare countermeasure system over the Arabian Sea Oct. 15, 2006, before heading into Afghanistan for a close air support mission. Members of VFA-136, which is part of Carrier Air Wing One, are embarked aboard the nuclear powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) for a scheduled six-month deployment in support of maritime security operations and the war on terror.
