MOBILE, Ala., Sept 12, 2008 -- The Coast Guard attempted a rescue Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, of 22 crewmembers aboard a 584-foot bulk freighter, the Antalina, disabled and drifting in the Gulf of Mexico, south of Lake Charles, Texas in the path of Hurricane Ike.
