With the incident of the pirates taking a U.S. flagged ship, the first time in 200 years a U.S. flagged ship has been boarded by pirates, we now see how weak the Obama administration is.

It is now going on two days and we have yet to see even so much as a formal statement from the White House. We must assume that they are polling to see how to respond.

God help us.

Obama was afraid to comment to reporters on the incident at a press conference today.

Once again we have Obama voting "present," instead of voting President.

I guess he was still polling to see if the the police he sent to talk to the pirates is going to work.

As I recall, Hillary warned everyone what would happen when Obama received the 3 AM phone call. I think he has received three so far.

Inept.

With everything going on, it looks like we are partying like it's 1979.

I think everyone should just relax. This is not a referendum on Barack Obama's presidency. Nobody wants to get the captured American captain killed. If the Somalis didn't have an American, we wouldn't be negotiating. Once we've done our best to get our guy out, I say let the Navy unleash some fury on the pirates--and Somalia in general.

Relax? Right.

Obama seems to have missed the chapter in the 'Idiot's Guide to POTUS' that talks about how to act like the Commander in Chief.

It's now on the fourth day into this military situation and Obama has said squat. We must assume that the world sees him as an inexperienced, child-man.

Then again, perhaps Obama mistook CiC to mean Community Organizer in Chief or Collectivist in Chief?
